Last month saw the Landmark Harcourts network join together over three days to be educated and inspired by a range of industry speakers at the 2017 Harcourts Conference. It was also a time for our network to celebrate success as the Harcourts group marked its 20th anniversary in Australia with a brilliant awards evening to finish off the event.
Five years after the joint venture between Landmark and Harcourts came into effect, Landmark Harcourts dominated the Top Rural Sales Consultant category. This year all three top positions were earned by Western Australian rural specialists, with first place going to Neville Tutt from Albany.
David Jannings (Kojonup) took out the runner up position, while Kevin Manuel from Wongan Hills was named No. 3 Top Rural Sales Consultant for the 12 months ending March 2017.
Outside of the rural category, the Wodonga office was recognised for the outstanding growth of their property management division when they won the award for Property Management Business Development.
In addition to recognising excellence across the wider Harcourts group, the Landmark Harcourts Annual Awards also celebrated the professional success from within the brand too.
The main award of the evening was the perpetual Ambassadors Cup trophy, honouring a member of the team who embodies the professional standards and qualities the Landmark Harcourts network is known for. For the next 12 months, the cup will be gracing the office of Barry Redmond of Landmark Harcourts Leongatha. After four decades in the industry, he is now dealing with the next generation of families who have trusted him with their real estate requirements throughout his career – a tribute to his depth of knowledge and professional service.
New recruit Michael Enever, who opened the Bairnsdale office in Victoria less than a year ago, was awarded Rookie of the Year in honour of his dedication and relentless work to grow his business in Gippsland.
Cate Armstrong of West Wyalong, NSW, was recognised as Most Improved. Her fresh attitude, tech-savvy and client service have seen her enjoy great success over the past year and she is a valued asset within her office.
The tradition of recognising some of the invaluable staff behind the sales team continued again this year, with Kaz Rourke of Wangaratta taking home the award for Office Admin Staff of the Year for her great work managing the substantial team in Wangaratta.
Continuing a custom established the previous year, marketing awards were also presented to offices and sales consultants who go above and beyond:
- Office Presentation - Roma, QLD
- Community Engagement - Strathalbyn, SA
- Email Marketing - Keith, SA (Geoff Watts' personal and engaging emails peppered with jokes and inside information are several steps above the average real estate emails!)
- Social Media - Wangaratta, VIC
On behalf of the Landmark Harcourts network we congratulate our winners on their outstanding efforts over the past year!
