With the continuing roll-out of the brand across Australia, Landmark Harcourts are proud to announce the opening of Landmark Harcourts Mansfield.

The new team of sales consultants will service the Mansfield, Mount Buller, Goughs Bay, Jamieson, Merrijig and Bonnie Doon areas, marketing regional properties including rural, residential and lifestyle.

Along with his son Jack, and ably assisted by his wife Tracey, Dean brings an experienced approach to the local real estate industry. Involved in local businesses for the past 15 years, including operating Shipley Real Estate, the Shipleys are excited to get back into local real estate after taking a break to run High Country Maze.

Tracey, originally a hairdresser by trade, has an extensive background in sales and office management spanning over 11 years. Jack is also no stranger to sales, deciding to make the move back to Mansfield and join the family business after working in real estate in the Melbourne bayside suburbs of Cheltenham, Beaumaris and Mentone.

After running their family businesses, the Shipleys are applying the same formula of hard work, honesty, modern technology and an informed understanding of the market to further carve out a niche in the real estate business.

Landmark Harcourts General Manager Mark Brooke believes this experience is particularly advantageous with the North Eastern Victoria region playing a prominent part in Victoria’s regional real estate sector.

The most recent edition of Landmark Harcourts’ quarterly regional and rural property data report, Benchmark, revealed that across the Hume (North Eastern Victoria) region 12 months to November 2015, 3,769 regional property sales transacted valued at $1.3 billion.

Of these, 2,337 transactions were residential (<4ha) properties, valued at over $675million with an additional 1,432 rural (>4ha) properties valued at over $625 million. The median price of residential property for the region was $275,000.

“Within Victoria, the Hume region has the third highest value of property transacted over the 12 months to November 2015, just behind the Geelong and Gippsland regions,” comments Mark.

The Shipley family are looking forward to meeting potential buyers and sellers through the Landmark Harcourts brand.

A joint venture between Landmark and Harcourts Group Australia, Landmark Harcourts have been ingrained in regional Australia for 170 years and have since become the country’s leading regional real estate brand, part of a national network with over 400 branches Australia-wide.
