Landmark Harcourts have taken top honours in the rural categories at the Harcourts National Annual Awards, held at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast on Wednesday, May 18.  

At the Conference which commenced last Monday, attendees were also treated to some exceptional keynote presentations from speakers including, founder of braaap Motorcycles, Brad Smith, Chair of the Coporate Agriculture Group, John McKillop, Founder of MiniMovers, Mike O’Hagan and Author of 100 Things, Sebastian Terry.

Through August to October, a 37-day vintage car tour is threading its way through regional and rural Queensland, spreading awareness about prostate cancer. Landmark Harcourts is proudly supporting the ManUp! event as our first sponsorship through the Harcourts Foundation.

The three-man two-car ManUp! convoy will visit 40 towns across 5,170km including stops at all our Landmark Harcourts Queensland locations.

As this goes online, twenty specialists from the Landmark Harcourts and Harcourts Australia are in China to showcase Australian agribusiness and urban developments through our Connect with Australia event.

From 18^th to 28^th September 2014, Landmark Harcourts is showcasing Australian agribusiness to China through its Connect with Australia initiative. The 10-day program boasts numerous events in Beijing and Shanghai, each designed to promote Australia to the largest market in the world.

Landmark Harcourts was honoured for their achievements over the past 12 months by being presented with a number of awards across several categories at the Harcourts National Awards night last week.

One of the Country's most well-known rural sales consultants from Landmark Harcourts Tasmania, Michael Warren, was presented with first place for Top Rural Sales Consultant.

"Selling many multi-million dollar properties throughout his State and holding the record of the highest price achieved at $9.3 million, it's no surprise Michael received this award," said Craig Yarrow, Landmark Harcourts General Manager.

In an exciting new initiative, real estate group Landmark Harcourts launched its Benchmark Property Report in Sydney on Friday 29^th November. The Benchmark Property Report will stand alone in providing the most comprehensive "big picture" of Australia's regional and rural real estate markets.

“In compiling and analysing Benchmark, our intention is to highlight property market transactional trends in more than 350 local government areas across regional and rural Australia,” said Darren Cole, CEO of Landmark Harcourts.

Landmark Harcourts will help connect urban Brisbane consumers with the origins of their food at this year’s Ekka.

A big screen will allow visitors to the event to speak in real-time with producers across rural Australia, providing a valuable insight into life on the land.

Landmark Harcourt’s Darren Cole said bringing the bush to the big screen assists in bridging the country-city divide and highlights often overlooked aspects of farming such as animal welfare and landcare.

Real Estate group Landmark Harcourts plans to take a select number of regional and rural properties direct to Chinese customers.

The 10 day event, scheduled for September, will see Landmark Harcourts help their clients take advantage of the strong interest, from China, in Australian property.

Headed by CEO, Darren Cole, the property showcase will visit Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. Participating sellers can expect their properties to be exposed to a large group of buyers whom otherwise may never have been aware the properties were available to purchase.

“We are part of an international group with over 780 offices in 8 countries”, Mr. Cole said.
